Grievance Handling (2 sessions)
This is the updated Grievance Handling course designed for virtual (online) delivery.

Grievance Handling (GH) (2 Days)Gives new shop stewards essential knowledge for handling Level I Grievances. Participants gain a better understanding of how to work with members at the initial stages of the grievance procedure and how to mobilize members around workplace problems. Open to: All members, and new Local Stewards are encouraged to apply.
Prerequisite: Talking Union Basics

You will be required to attend two (2) day sessions and one (1) evening session in order to complete this course. Course delivery will be as follows:
Saturday October 23 9:00am-5:00 pm
Sunday October 24 9:00am-5:00pm
+ Oct 27 or Oct. 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

This course is best suited for participation on a computer (desktop or laptop). A mobile device can be used (tablet, cell phone) however the participant experience may be affected.

Upon successful completion of the course, member entitlement will be calculated as follows:

Per Diem: According to PSAC Policy. The course must be completed in its entirety before the per diem is issued. The virtual GH is a 18 hour course.

Loss of Salary: Eligible loss of salary reimbursement will be paid to members attending the virtual Grievance Handling, during hours in which they were scheduled to work. Any eligible loss of salary will be reimbursed upon confirmation of full attendance and completion of the course and in accordance with the applicable PSAC policy.
